As an ambitious and fast-moving startup in the health and med‑tech spaces, we are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and hungry graduate to help and, success depending, progress to run our PR/Marketing department.
As a PR/Marketing Intern you will support company founders and the marketing team in discovering, establishing, nurturing and managing early‑stage relationships with business partners, suppliers, and investors as well as maintaining upkeep of the press office. You will also be responsible for supervising our social media platforms, conventional media and other communication‑related activities, operated by third‑party digital and PR agencies. You will be in regular contact with internal and external stakeholders to whom you will be working with and under, hand in hand on a daily basis.
Essential knowledge, education, skills and experience- Graduate with PR or marketing qualification
- Ideally, you will have some experience working at a PR/Marketing agency or in‑house on a PR/Marketing team
- Keen awareness and interest in social media platforms and marketing as well as conventional and national media
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and social media platforms including (but not limited to) Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook are essential
- Basic knowledge and understanding of SEO
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Be proactive & assertive reacting to key business requirements in a timely manner
- You must be organised and flexible with an excellent understanding of human and public relations (both B2B and B2C)
- Be a style‑conscious and independent thinker with attention to detail and a creative eye
- Have strong interpersonal and communications skills as well as being an enthusiastic learner and pro‑active person with a can‑do attitude
Full time, office‑based position although we would consider some flexibility when strictly necessary. We are looking for someone to start immediately.
