About usbakeddesires.co.uk is a marketplace for sweet bakes, focused on four categories of postal bakes and giving bakers around the UK autonomy to fulfill their creative goals. We are the first of our kind in the UK and aim to become the go‑to place for baked goods across the country, whether to enjoy at home, share, or give as a gift.

The role involves launching a new team of marketers to support our digital presence. The position is a part‑time, unpaid internship designed for students, recent graduates, or anyone seeking marketing experience and portfolio work.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing digital channels – website, Instagram, and other social platforms
  • Creating and innovating content and promotional materials for our social media pages
  • Proactively promoting the bakeddesires.co.uk brand image on social media
  • Maintaining a media database
  • Actively interacting online and building a loyal social media community
  • Contributing to website redesign projects and blog posts
  • Engaging in online forums and participating in outreach and promotion activities
  • Developing regular content calendars
  • Monitoring social media analytics to identify viable ideas and strategies

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Essential skills: knowledge of various social media sites, effective communication, organisational skills, proactiveness, creativity, and a can‑do attitude.
  • Essential experience: None required.
