About VoiceBox
VoiceBox is an international content platform built to help young creators thrive. We believe that sharing thoughtful, high-quality content is deserving of pay even if your audience isn’t 100,000 strong. We believe that young people’s content shouldn’t be drowned out by noise, fluff, hate, or ads, so you’ll only find content that has been chosen by our team. We also want to make sure young people have an equal seat at the table. Creatively, politically and commercially. Through our paid content platform, Ambassador programme and youth consultation, we create spaces for young people to monetise their work and speak directly to decision-makers. Since 2020 we have been working with young people around the world and partners like Parent Zone, Meta, TikTok, Nominet and the Information Commission’s Office in the UK to create and grow VoiceBox.
The Role
We’re looking for someone to work alongside our founders to take VoiceBox to the next level. You’ll need to be excited by the prospect of working at a startup, enthusiastic about giving young people a platform and ready to work hard and innovate. You’ll be willing to do what’s needed to make VoiceBox a success. That might be finding potential funders and pitching ideas or working with our founders to deliver projects. You’ll need to be entrepreneurial, in touch with our young audiences and ready to take our work to a wider audience.
This role is hybrid. Our team includes people in the US and the UK, so most days, you’ll be working from home and need to be comfortable with managing your own workload and collaborating at a distance. However, we also have an office space in London where our UK team members work from as needed, based on the demands of specific projects. There will also be some occasions where you may need to be present for an in-person event, such as helping with a workshop or attending a youth conference.

- Leading in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies
- Dealing with and responding to client requests - alongside VoiceBox director - where appropriate
- Supporting the overall day-to-day activity of the VoiceBox team
Skills and Capabilities
- Highly organised and proactive; able to work up and stick to a plan
- Friendly, approachable and able to make and maintain connections with partners easily
