We are an engineering firm operating in-space propulsion, currently developing ion propulsion systems for the European Space Agency. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer intern candidate with strong engineering skills and experience in CAD, FEM, and preferably in advanced simulations in HPC environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and implement mission‑critical mechanical systems.
- Conduct PhD level research in line with the needs of the company.
- Interact with top researchers from elite universities such as Imperial College and UCL.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in a quantitative field, preferably Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Strong work ethic, ability to perform under time pressure, and the ability to learn new topics quickly.
- Experience in CAD, FEM, and advanced simulations in HPC environments.
Successful candidates will be offered either success‑based compensation or a full‑time position in our London office. In the unfortunate case where the fit is not ideal, candidates may benefit from the experience gained working with a deep technology firm for government agencies.
