The Information Technology Intern role provides an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands‑on learning experience in a professional IT environment, while actively contributing to customer success via technical support, preparing documentation and technical proposals, and actively participating in the development of Workshops, Proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) and technical demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving IT‑related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, proposals, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the IT team in the development of workshops, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) and technical demonstrations for customers.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology, cybersecurity, and IT solutions.
  • Prepare product and service documentation and catalogues for new technologies for the sales teams, translating the technical features and benefits to business use cases.
  • Assist in preparing and applying for public sector contracts.
  • Work closely with team members to implement and optimise IT solutions for clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technology, cybersecurity principles, and IT solutions.
  • Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong understanding of Network Administration, Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
  • Experience in the IT industry through internships or work experience is a plus.
  • Curiosity to learn new technologies as and when required.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (competency in Azure cloud is preferred).
  • Conceptual Knowledge of Administering modern work solutions (such as Microsoft 365), Identities, Endpoints, Data, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT service management principles.

The position requires a commitment of around 15 to 20 hours per week, offering flexibility to accommodate academic obligations. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience, which will be at competitive hourly rates aligning with industry standards (~GBP 12 to 14 per hour).
