Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Social Media & Marketing Executive (Internship) to take ownership of our organic social media presence and support wider marketing activity across the business. This is a hands‑on role focused on short‑form content, engagement, brand consistency, and driving enquiries. You’ll work closely with teams across the business, travel to key sites to capture real operational content, and play a key role in strengthening our online reputation. You will be fully supported by our established marketing and social media partners, who have worked with the business for over 10 years, while also having creative control to develop content ideas, formats, and campaigns and truly make the role your own.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and manage content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Business Profile
- Film and edit short‑form video content optimised for each platform
- Turn day‑to‑day logistics operations into engaging content (behind‑the-scenes, day-in-the-life, shipment stories, quick explainers)
- Travel to company sites including Heathrow, Camberley, Southend, Southampton, and Felixstowe to capture content
- Engage with audiences via comments and DMs, identifying opportunities to pass enquiries to the team
- Proactively contact existing customers to request Google and Trustpilot reviews, helping build and protect the company’s online reputation
- Work with employees to optimise their LinkedIn profiles, ensuring consistency with the company’s brand identity
- Track performance and provide simple weekly reporting on what worked and what to test next
About You

- Strong understanding of what drives engagement and enquiries on social
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable working to deadlines
