We are seeking a creative and driven Junior Social Media Generalist to manage and grow our online presence with a clear focus on generating leads for our services and uncovering new opportunities. The role is remote‐based (20 hours a week, £14 per hour for three months, with potential to become full‐time) and requires occasional on‐site presence at film locations, company events or meetings, with expenses covered.
Key platforms include LinkedIn outreach, Facebook and WhatsApp group engagement, Instagram content, and social media channel revamps. You will also handle content creation across all platforms, build relationships, drive engagement and convert interactions into actionable opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing and branding strategies.
- Find and maintain relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
- Assist with the planning and execution of social media events and campaigns.
- Monitor and report on competitor social media activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a social media role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
