We are looking to fill an internship role for a Rugby apparel brand startup. We have launched our brand and online store in August 2019. We design all our own clothing. Every product is unique and for rugby fans worldwide. We do not resell official jerseys and generic products you can find anywhere. All our products are our own creations and helping us build the brand.

We are looking for an intern to help us / take charge and develop the social media presence of the brand, engage with Rugby Fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, build a following, research, create engaging posts, monitor responses, grow the following and occasionally promote new products. Our IG account has about 4k followers, Facebook 600 page likes. We would like to grow this massively moving forward and are looking for a social media smart, motivated and forward‐thinking individual to intern with us and push on. If you also have an interest in fashion, the brand would also be interested in hearing your ideas, opinion on designs and any suggestion you may have.

Responsibilities

  • Assuming full control of our social media activity
  • Contributing with your own ideas to our social media strategy
  • Growing social following
  • Researching topics and preparing posts
  • Researching influencers, finding opportunities and engaging their followers
  • Taking part in discussing new designs and suggesting ideas for new products and collections
  • Generally speaking, helping the brand develop

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking and social media crazy individual, coming in with fresh ideas and the drive to excel. You would need to be happy to work unsupervised and be self‐motivated and results‐driven. The role could be on any time basis, depending on the preferences of the suitable candidate. In addition, the duration of the role could extend if the internship is proving to be mutually beneficial or evolve into a job offer.

Qualifications

  • Studies / degree in sales / marketing / new media or related subject is preferred but not essential.
  • The role would suit a candidate who wants to get hands on experience of a wide variety of skills and responsibilities in a start‐up environment.
  • An interest in Rugby would also be a great asset.
