We are looking for a talented, driven, and organized intern to join our team as a Newsletter and Klaviyo Specialist Intern. If you're passionate about email marketing, content creation, and customer engagement, this is a great opportunity to build your experience in a dynamic and creative environment.
Job Overview: You will play a key role in helping us grow our newsletter base and engage with our audience through strategic email marketing campaigns. You will assist in managing our Klaviyo account, curating content, planning, scheduling, and sending newsletters. You'll work closely with the marketing team and receive all the necessary content to craft compelling emails that resonate with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the Klaviyo account, including maintaining and segmenting the newsletter database.
- Work to grow the newsletter subscriber base through various strategies, including list‐building tactics, sign‐up forms, and integrations with the website and social media platforms.
- Plan, design, and schedule newsletters using Klaviyo with content provided by the marketing team (e.g., product updates, promotions, blog posts, company news).
- Ensure all newsletters are optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, including proofreading for grammar and clarity.
- Analyze and report on email campaign performance (open rates, click‐through rates, conversions) and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Stay updated on email marketing trends, best practices, and Klaviyo feature updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design team to ensure email content aligns with brand guidelines and strategies.
- Assist in A/B testing strategies for email templates and content to maximize engagement.
- Assist with other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms is preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic marketing and email marketing concepts.
- Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) are a plus but not required.
- A passion for the beauty industry and digital marketing.
