The Peruvian Embassy in the UK is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant who should be able to do reception work, answering e‑mails and telephone, manage office operations, scheduling, handling correspondence, help in events programmed by the Embassy, and providing support to senior staff. Support various functions such as administration, logistics, and other essential services.
Please note that the labour laws of the UK will govern the contract, including the remuneration. The successful candidate must have a legal entitlement to live and work in the UK prior to recruitment.
Skills Required- 2 years substantive experience in relevant positions constitutes an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent secretarial skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of other similar software will be appreciated.
- Competence performing research online, via social media and otherwise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Fluency in Spanish constitutes an advantage.
- Proven ability to work well in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to be professional, courteous and deal directly with key players at a senior level both inside and outside the Embassy.
