Kompetes is a private E-Sports platform for all gamers, starting with Counter Strike and planning to add other games as the user base grows. The development is completed, and we have started the social media pages. We are planning our first competition and need 160 people for the tournament, which means 32 teams. Counter Strike is a team game. As part of the marketing, we hope to have exhibition games to help promote the main tournament.
I need a community manager with some experience in building and managing social media groups. Experience dealing with gaming or a demonstrated passion for gaming would be advantageous. I am mainly focused on the UK market, but the platform is open globally. I expect the community manager to reach out to gamers who may be interested in our contests, invite gamers to contests, and promote the brand and competitions.
You will be expected to manage the Facebook group, Steam group, and Discord channel. This role is very important to us. You can use your own social media page or create a new one, but it would be better if you used your existing page. The role will suit an individual that is really interested in gaming and E-sports. However, if you believe you have sales skills and want to take on this challenge, please apply. The main goal for this role is to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the competitions.
I am hoping for a significant contribution to gaining traction for the first competition, which will take place in December. I look forward to your responses. Have a look at the site and social pages if you wish.
Qualifications:
- Basic Pay: £100 - Negotiable
- This is a target-based role; every month we will assess the targets and you will be paid based on that.
- Targets will be set based on the growth of the groups and gamers you bring.
- Once your overall group reaches 1000 unique individuals, your basic pay will increase.
- UK, EU, and US users are preferred.
- No special qualifications needed; previous sales experience would help.
- A previous role in this type of work would be fantastic.
