We are looking for a talented and responsible individual who is passionate about social issues to join our small team based in London E1. The role involves research and event coordination, updating databases, verifying contact details, researching potential participants and partners, and coordinating event participation. The researcher will also handle general office administration.
Responsibilities
- Undertake periodical and comprehensive updates of our databases, including verification and updating of contact details.
- Research potential participants and partners for future initiatives.
- Coordinate events, speaking with offices of outside organisations to verify contact details and confirm event participation details.
- Manage inbound emails and general office administration tasks.
Qualifications
- Have sufficient research and administration experience.
- Be a strong researcher, able to assess and analyse large amounts of information with good investigative skills.
- Communicate effectively over the phone, work well alone or in a team, and be committed, accurate and punctual.
- Possess reliable IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, understanding of computer backup systems, archiving files, and ability to work with both Windows and Mac OS at a high level.
- Have good office administration skills to coordinate inbound emails and general office management.
- Live near the office in London E1 2HP (desirable).
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: £10 per hour. Flexible working days: 2–4 days per week. Part‑time employment for a 3‑month internship. Paid trial of 1–2 days.
