Executive assistant role in a media and digital PR company. This opportunity will be unpaid.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the company's correspondence emails, diaries and client calls.
  • Screen and direct emails, distribute correspondence, and provide general administrative support.
  • Managing the company's social media channels and editorial content writing work.
  • Assisting the company's sales and marketing and digital PR campaigns.
  • Carry out social media management, editorial content writing, sales and marketing, and digital PR duties as and when required.
  • Scheduling the company's diaries including arranging presentations, meetings and other events/appointments.
  • Managing the company director and staff's daily appointments, important tasks and deadlines.
  • Compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Managing the company and director's social media and other personal administrative tasks for the company and director.
  • Supporting the company and director on a day to day basis, and carry out ad hoc administration duties as and when required.
  • Full diary management and inbox management.
  • Capture, alert and monitor important issues for the company and directors where follow up is required.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the Director.
  • Assist in the management of multiple projects related to the diversity lines of business as assigned by the director.
  • Building a contact list database of all the new and existing music websites/blogs, as well as building a contact list database of UK-wide radio presenters and radio producers of specialist radio shows and radio stations.
  • Building a contact list database of exciting new and emerging UK, European, American, and African artists that we can potentially turn into new online PR clients.
  • Managing databases of potential PR clients, online press, radio producers, presenters, and DJs.
  • Pitching digital PR services to potential clients.
  • Monitoring and reporting on existing digital PR campaigns.
  • Capturing screenshots of all the blog/press coverage our UK online PR campaigns have garnered as well as each page link and collating this together for each campaign (remotely and digitally).

  • Excellent written English language and communication skills with highly developed organizational and problem-solving skills.
