About us Bonsucro is the global platform for sustainability in sugarcane. We work with people and organisations across the sugarcane supply chain, including small‑scale farmers and some of the world’s biggest brands.
The position is a six months paid internship/contract working in close collaboration with the Senior Assurance and Learning Manager to ensure:
- Timely communication internally and with external partners
- Prompt Standard and Assurance query management
- Distribution and follow-up of Standard and Assurance tasks internally and externally (data and certification)
- Effective coordination and administrative support of Standards & Assurance team workstreams
Key Accountabilities:
- Organise processes related to service providers/consultants (contract signature, invoice processing, meeting organisation) required for the delivery of the Standards and Assurance Team
- Carry out administrative tasks relating to the Bonsucro Learning strategy
- Respond to applicant certification bodies and training providers’ requests for information
- Coordinate processing of assurance-related queries (from certification bodies, members, staff members and other stakeholders) by answering, redirecting, or escalating requests as appropriate
- Answer or elevate queries from the certification bodies when applicable
- Collect and maintain assurance-related information and data
- Assist the Director of Standards and Assurance with the administration of the Technical Advisory Board
- Assist team members with meeting and travel arrangements
- Coordinate Standards and Assurance Team meetings (booking meetings, minutes taking, etc)
- Assist with any other administrative tasks that might be required in relation to assurance and technical support.
Essential requirements:
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work with multiple priorities
- Methodical approach and experience in tracking information and activities
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a highly international setting with cultural sensitivity and virtual communications
- MS office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- An interest in sustainability issues
Additionally desirable:
- Experience using Salesforce
- Working knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish
- Understanding of sustainability standards
