Your Role
- Researching companies (potential new clients) and finding new vacancies (business development) in the UK and Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland).
- Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
- Sourcing candidates from internal database, social media and job sites for new contract and permanent IT vacancies.
- Using Social Media for the purpose of Recruitment Needs: appropriately advertise positions by drafting and placing adverts on relevant channels, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers.
- Assessing applicants' CVs for suitability and discussing vacancies and requirements with them.
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates.
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details for client.
- Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants.
- Arranging interviews with candidates and clients.
- Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
- Negotiating salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates.
- Offering advice to candidates on pay rates, training and career progression.
- Chasing feedback after interviews for both parties + Closing deals.
- When required, attend Recruitment events nationally or internationally.
- Working towards targets (number placements, billing or leads generated).
Who We Are Looking For
- We are looking for a hard-working, competitive and social individual with true interest in Technology first, and in Recruitment and/or Business Development along with a high desire to excel and succeed there.
- Confident with strong communication skills both over the phone and over email.
- Ideally bilingual or Native in French given our exposure to many French speaking countries amongst others, but not a necessity (Nice to have).
- Ideally you have experience within recruitment, and within the Tech sector but not essential.
- Be willing to learn throughout your journey to develop and support yourself and those within your network.
- Willing to learn how to use our ATS, CRM and all relevant day to day tools efficiently.
- Able to multitask and adapt to a wide range of responsibilities with ease.
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise tasks.
- Work well as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
- Willingness to travel to Europe occasionally.
Conditions
- Full-time - Mix of office+home-based.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
- Starting time: Immediate start.
- Expected duration: 6 months - possibility of a permanent position once complete.
