We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hospitality & Event Management Intern/Placement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the hospitality and event industry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests
- Assist in venue management, including set-up and breakdown of events
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for event themes, decorations, and entertainment
- Assist in creating event timelines and schedules
- Attend and participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Assist in marketing and promoting events through various channels
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Currently enrolled in a hospitality, event management, or related program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in event promotion
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
