We are an award-winning lifestyle magazine for international students. Our content illuminates and entertains our readers and gives them an authentic insight into what it is really like to live and study in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Researching articles, preparing content to be published, sourcing images, reaching out for comment from outside organisations
- Researching and writing articles for the website and content for our social media channels
- Designing elements of the weekly e‑magazine
- Managing the editorial calendar
- Writing guest blogs to promote Great British Mag
- Contributing to our YouTube videos and podcasts
- Attending industry events as an ambassador for the magazine

Skills required:
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Google Docs, Dropbox and Google Analytics
- Training or some experience of journalism
- Good command of spelling and grammar
Training:
- On‑the‑job learning with supervision from a member of the team
- Weekly one‑to‑one meetings with a senior team member
- Monthly review meetings to set new learning objectives
