About us
We have just launched a well‑needed marketplace startup and are looking for marketers. We have three roles open, covering digital marketing, social media, and blogging. We are looking for motivated individuals that are interested to work with us for experience and to build their portfolios. Bakeddesires.co.uk is a marketplace for sweet bakes. We are the first of our kind, focusing solely on four categories of sweet postal bakes and giving great autonomy to bakers around the UK. Effectively, we are the one‑stop‑shop that fulfils the passionate baker's goals and meets each customer's desire to enjoy varieties of baked indulgences. We are extremely motivated and with so many ambitions to serve as the go‑to place for baked goods across the country, be it to enjoy at home, to share, or to gift to loved ones. We are gaining traction but need more hands on deck to maximise our drive and potential.
Role
We exist to serve people – bakers and customers. We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, able to work alone and in a team, has raw initiative, and is willing to go the extra mile. We want someone that can share our dream, but also someone that will come in with a new perspective as we are super keen on diverse views and open‑minded individuals. Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen the bakeddesires.co.uk brand language across a variety of audiences
- Create, manage, and design digital and traditional marketing campaigns and other promotional materials across multiple platforms
- Manage the creation and promotion of blog posts and web content
- Update email templates for customer and business communications
- Assist with the development of creative concepts and marketing strategies for promoting bakeddesires.co.uk, such as drafting press releases and contacting journalists
- Build knowledge of SEO and content strategy development to drive natural search, including working with Google Analytics and search consoles
- Build actionable ideas to generate customer and baker leads
