Fresh Coffee Co is a Coffee and Sandwich shop based in Canley, a suburb of Coventry. It is located within 2 miles of War Memorial Park and the University of Warwick, close to a student community. Our passion is to provide great tasting coffee, homemade cakes, and made-to-order sandwiches on site. We are looking for an intern who is motivated and enthusiastic with great customer service skills. In return, you will gain hands-on experience of the day-to-day tasks of running a café. On-the-job training will be provided, along with continual guidance from the manager for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out the daily tasks of the café from opening tasks to end-of-the-day tasks
- Provide a friendly and timely customer service
- Manage multiple customer orders
- Stock Management
- Daily recording of mandatory checks to ensure compliance
- Ensure hygiene and tidiness of the food preparation area
Qualifications:
- High level of organisation
- Ability to work independently and effectively
- Great customer service
- Previous industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Food Safety and Hygiene and Food Allergen courses will be required from the successful candidate and this will be arranged
