We provide a supportive learning and networking environment, online and face-to-face events, and tools, strategies and techniques for professional and personal development. We offer events, webinars and courses to the public and tailored programmes and workshops to organisations, universities and other networks.

We are looking for an Events & Marketing Assistant to work in our Waterbeach, Cambridge office helping to deliver and market our events. There is also the possibility to work from home.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, organisation and execution of a full annual event calendar across our venue portfolio.
  • Book locations, equipment, venues, and liaise with external agencies to assist in event creation.
  • Work closely with our in-house creative team to deliver exceptional concepts and visuals.
  • Manage web and social media channels.
  • Create blog posts.
  • Maintain CRM and databases up to date.
  • Set up biweekly email marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Creative individuals with a passion for the events industry.
  • Experience of working on pop-up events and live event festivals is preferred.
  • Willingness to bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • First-class communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
  • 6- to 16-week internship with potential progression to a permanent role (full-time or part-time).
  • Unpaid internship with experience gained at a leading networking and events company in Cambridge and London.
