The predicted salary is between 20000 - 30000 £ per year.

The placement student/Graduate will be working with the Air Quality Team as a consultant. The team are responsible for the following services:

  • Ambient and Indoor Air Quality Assessments and Monitoring
  • Advanced Dispersion Modelling
  • Industrial Assessments and Modelling

To assist with the delivery of these services, the students will be expected to complete work efficiently to meet deadlines, be flexible and adaptable in their approach to communicate with project teams, and be able to present their work in a formal setting. Working as an Air Quality consultant is a very collaborative role and requires a person to be able to work well with others and take initiative when required.

The placement student/Graduate will have an assigned mentor within the team that will be responsible for the student’s workload and training, as well as be available for support if required. The student and their mentor will have periodic reviews to assess their skill level, progression, and need for training. As the student progresses over the course of their term here, they will be given more opportunity to lead and manage their own projects and will therefore be expected to manage their own workload.

There may also be opportunities to experience other elements of the services that we provide as a company (e.g. environmental, acoustics, civils, MEP design, ecology, embodied carbon assessments, etc.) if desired by the candidate to ensure they get a well-rounded and productive experience.
