Short Job Description
Yard Coordinators undertake various functions to ensure our yard and facility is well organized and run smoothly. You may be responsible for organizing our yard and facility, washing equipment, entering data in work orders, and videoing equipment. Experience with heavy machinery (CAT) is a plus.
Yard Coordinators may perform the following tasks:
- Check-in/out equipment.
- Video equipment and attachments
- Compile and send out damage notifications.
- Keep pictures of equipment and attachments updated in M1.
- Maintain accurate machine and attachment inventories.
- Maintain tire inventory, assist with tire inspections, and enter data in M1.
- Enter data in work orders.
- Pick up and deliver parts as necessary.
- Wash equipment.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the yard and shop
- Other duties as assigned by the service manager and shop foreman.
Personal Requirements:
- Self-starter
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude for working with computers & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organization skills
- Mechanical background is a plus
