We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Project Management Officer.
The core responsibility of the Programme Manager is managing and coordinating the introduction of new RX products from the NPI operational perspective.
This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams across commercial, development and supply operations, to ensure timely and efficient product launches.
The E2E NPI Programme Manager (RX) will oversee the entire lifecycle of new product introductions, from pre‑clinical or in‑licensing through to post‑launch product maintenance, including geo expansions, ensuring that all NPI requirements are met.
Norgine has established an operational excellence playbook to enable for the efficient and timely execution of new product introductions (NPIs) according to launch excellence.
As part of Norgine’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and sustainability we require an E2E NPI Programme Manager (RX) for our Prescription Medicines (RX) business sector, reporting to the Transformation Management Office (TMO).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- End‑to‑end Programme Management
- Implement an end‑to‑end (E2E) programme management approach to ensure seamless integration, coordination and standardisation across all phases of the product lifecycle and all RX products.
- Co‑develop and maintain an overall programme Gantt chart and status report for RX brands/ NPI projects in collaboration with Launch Excellence leads.
- Ensure programme alignment with the NPI and Launch Excellence processes.
- Coordination between Supply, Development, and Commercial Teams
- Collaborate with Supply Operations workstream lead and supply operations functions to ensure the availability of product for new product launches and ongoing commercial supply.
- Collaborate with Development workstream lead and development functions to ensure timely provision of clinical development, regulatory development and medical affairs inputs into NPI processes.
- Collaborate with Commercial workstream lead and commercial functions to ensure timely provision of brand strategy, market access, geoexpansion, and forecast inputs into NPI processes.
- Identify, monitor and mitigate risks related to the supply operations, development, and commercial activities, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
- Resources Management
- Manage resources end‑to‑end (E2E) to guarantee the delivery of product launches on time and in full.
- Allocate and optimise resources across RX portfolio to ensure efficient utilisation and future resource planning.
- Monitor resource availability and capacity, making adjustments as necessary to meet project demands.
- Ensure that all team members have the optimal tools, training, and support to perform their roles effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for all NPI‑related activities.
- Engage with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
- Governance and Reporting
- Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure efficient project & programme management and decision‑making.
- Prepare and present regular project/programme status reports to senior management.
- Maintain visibility across brands and business areas for greater accountability and engagement.
- Ad‑hoc Support for Project Management
- Lead and manage ad‑hoc RX/brand projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross‑functional team activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Support for PLM Manager
- Support the PLM manager in writing playbooks and commit to applying them across all relevant projects and processes.
- The role involves developing a new RACI and other action plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e. g., Business, Engineering, PMO, Commercial).
- Proven experience in NPI programme management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices, including Gx P.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Expertise in utilising PPM software tools including Share Point Planner, Microsoft 365 and other industry PPM tools.
