Are you confident providing People advice while balancing advisory and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment?

We’re looking for a proactive and self-driven People Advisor to join our People and Culture team, providing hands‑on support, coaching and guidance to managers and employees across the Frontline Group.

This is a varied role combining advisory and administrative responsibilities, with a strong focus on enhancing the employee experience and driving positive outcomes.

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you’ll provide advice, support key People processes, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and ways of working.

You’ll act as a first point of contact for P&C queries, building strong relationships and ensuring a high-quality, responsive service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including starters, movers and leavers
  • Maintain accurate people data and support reporting and analysis
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with end‑to‑end recruitment, from attraction and assessment through to onboarding
  • Manage contracts, pre‑employment checks, and employee data
  • Ensure effective onboarding, delivering well‑organised inductions and new joiner experiences
  • Partner with the People Business Partner and wider business to provide consistent, high‑quality advice and support
  • Provide first‑line guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including performance and absence management
  • Support and develop manager capability, promoting confidence and consistency
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on policies, procedures, and terms and conditions
  • Maintain People & Culture documentation and policies in line with legislation and best practice
  • Support annual People processes, including year‑end activities, in partnership with the People Ops Manager
  • Support payroll processes and resolve related queries
  • Collate and analyse people data, identifying trends and providing insights to support decision‑making
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and data integrity
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across processes and ways of working

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a People/HR Advisory or similar role
  • Able to balance advisory responsibilities with essential administrative tasks
  • Confident advising managers on people matters, policies and procedures, with a solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong data skills, including analysing people data (e. g. Excel) to produce meaningful insights
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and solutions‑focused approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, small team environment
