Overview
We\’re looking for a Labourer who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a team based in Prudhoe building cutting edge technology that makes a real world difference.
This is a practical, physical role supporting the day-to-day running of our manufacturing operations. You’ll help prepare, organise and move components, equipment and materials to support production and assembly teams.

OpenWorks Engineering develops C-UAS, Air Defence and Optical Surveillance, Sensing and Tracking technology for Defence and Security.
We’re award-winning and our systems have been deployed internationally to protect high profile military and civilian assets and to contribute towards the defeat of nuisance, misguided and malicious aerial threats during operations.

What you’ll be doing
- Moving, handling and organising parts, tools and materials around the facility
- Supporting technicians and engineers with prep work and clearing down workstations
- General workshop housekeeping and cleanliness
- Assisting with packaging, dispatch and goods-in processes
- Supporting the team with ad hoc manual tasks when required
