Your role:
The Global Parts & Accessories Manager will oversee the delivery of the P&A service, including S-BoM management, Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC), Customer Service and Dealer Support systems, Pricing Strategy, and global Accessories offerings and strategies. The role involves close liaison with the Aftersales Distribution Manager to minimize customer backorders and communicate parts ETA.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Analyze type approval changes and all time buy requirements.
- Manage and liaise with Engineering Change Requests, analyzing service implications.
- Support accessory strategy and team in identifying cost-saving initiatives and potential new offerings.
- Implement global sales initiatives for Parts & Accessories and support regional teams to deliver local initiatives, including regionalized pricing strategies and price file management.
- Manage dealer stock requirements in line with the car parc and service cycle, and lead the dealer support system to ensure tickets and inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Monitor demand trends and fulfillment performance.
- Maintain the Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) ensuring information accuracy and timely updates.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and SQE through the release process.
- Support continuous improvement of the BiW offering.
- Manage the Service BoM to ensure a sensible spare parts offering to dealers and customers.
- Develop strategies to support regional teams with second-line assistance for all P&A inquiries via the ticketing system.
What we are looking for:
- Significant industry knowledge and awareness of automotive spare parts and workshop practices (preferred technical background).
- Ability to interpret automotive technical drawings.
- Proven ability to define and achieve targets and objectives.
- Experience analyzing numerical reports and dealer stock planning.
- Experience managing continuous change and improvement initiatives.
- Ability to translate strategic requirements into operational actions.
- Proactive in anticipating business opportunities and creating innovative solutions.
- Experience with SAP and PLM systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
