We are seeking a reliable, professional and flexible private driver to provide transport support for a senior business professional using a company vehicle. This is a self-employed position requiring a high degree of flexibility. Hours will be arranged on an ad hoc basis and may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends depending on business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, smooth, and punctual driving service for a senior business professional, ensuring timely transport to meetings, appointments, airports, events, and other engagements.
- Deliver a professional and discreet chauffeur-style service, maintaining a calm, comfortable, and secure environment for all passengers at all times.
- Maintain the vehicle to a high standard, ensuring it is always clean, fuelled, well presented, and ready for use.
- Plan routes efficiently using strong knowledge of London roads, traffic conditions, and alternative routes to ensure journeys run seamlessly and on schedule.
- Remain flexible to changing schedules, including occasional waiting duties, early starts, evenings, weekends, and ad hoc travel requirements.
- Assist with occasional errands or delegated tasks when required, while ensuring any vehicle maintenance or servicing requirements are reported promptly.
- Uphold complete discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working as a self-employed driver or professional chauffeur.
- Experience driving luxury, executive, or high-performance vehicles preferred.
- Comfortable driving the manager’s/company vehicle.
- Excellent knowledge of London and surrounding areas, including traffic patterns and alternative routes.
- Flexible availability with the ability to work varied and ad hoc hours, including short-notice requests.
- Excellent timekeeping, presentation, and attention to detail.
- Calm, reliable, and professional manner with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Good IT/navigation skills preferred.
- DBS check required prior to commencement.
