Join to apply for the Sr. HR Adviser, Compliance - Volunteer role at International Youth Federation (IYF). Senior Human Resources Adviser (Compliance) provides substantive and oversight support on a wide spectrum of complex HR services, including recruitment, talent management, and performance.

What are we looking for?
- 5-10 years' experience in HR compliance on an operational level.
- Strategic knowledge or experience is advantageous.
- Experience within an NGO, international development, or civil service is ideal.
What will you be doing?
- Review the overall teams’ structures to ensure compliance with standard practices guidelines and IYF requirements and determine concrete measures for adherence.
- Manage timely and appropriate selection or placement of staff, taking into account all organizational priorities, such as gender balance, age limit, geographical distribution, competencies, etc.
- Coordinate with CHRD central recruitment team to ensure implementation of appropriate recruitment, selection, placement, reappointment, and separation decisions.
- Lead contract management, including implementing processes and providing oversight to contract implementation, ensuring that best practices are continuously identified.
- Develop and review staff results matrix for HQ central and regional business units, ensuring it is correctly planned, prepared, executed, and effectively managed.
- Lead and formulate HR component of change management policy development and initiatives including policies and procedures.
- Lead special projects on the design of new tools and standards, such as expanding generic job descriptions in reference to various emerging office typologies.
- Assess need for and develop other job evaluation instruments and materials.
- Provide regular advice and expert analysis to Regional Administrations and Country Teams on restructuring/realignment and HR related change management elements, including importance of adequate planning and clear change plans.
- Exercise delegated authority to approve exceptions and report to Senior Management on a periodic basis regarding decisions taken.
- Recommend to BOM for approval those exceptions of precedent-setting nature.
- Approve classification of posts within the established delegated authority.
