We are seeking a dynamic Collections & Partnerships Manager to lead our internal debt & legal collections team while managing relationships with external agencies and law firms. This hybrid role combines hands-on leadership with strategic partner management to maximise recovery performance and ensure compliance across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of debt & legal collections specialists to achieve recovery targets.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with third-party agencies and law firms to optimise collections strategies.
  • Oversee litigation processes, ensuring timely case handling and compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve recovery rates and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex negotiations, settlements, and customer disputes.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all out-of-court and legal collection cases are managed promptly, in full compliance with company policies, established processes, and applicable location regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align collections strategy with broader business objectives.
  • Complete any administrative tasks as required for the efficient running of the team’s activities.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in collections and legal recovery, with strong leadership skills.
  • Track record of managing external vendors and legal partners effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience

  • Management experience in credit control or collections.
  • Previous experience with legal collection procedures is a pre-requisite to apply for this role.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a team (remotely).
