The Director Strategy and Proposition will join a team responsible for the design of IWG’s customer propositions and the processes and business models that underpin them. Work will be done with the senior leadership team in each area to define strategy, business models (including product design, customer interface design, pricing, promotion, operating model, and customer services) and delivery plans to materially move the top and bottom line of the Group.

  • Can translate ideas and strategies into rapid pilots and tests
  • Runs the pilots rigorously, getting thorough, fast quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Adapts strategy and pilot in light of learnings

Drives The Strategy And Proposition

  • Takes responsibility for devising and executing a winning roadmap for change
  • Defines KPIs and targets and steps along the roadmap
  • Articulates who needs to do what by when
  • Joins Steering meetings to ensure that delivery of initiatives matches the strategic intent without deviation

Is Precise And Clear

  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable communicating and sharing with SLT members, including Group CEO
  • Creates collateral, training, FAQs, presentations, white papers that are simple and clear.

Skills And Experience

  • Must have minimum of 8 years of experience in strategy consulting, or experience in-house strategy roles with a background in both entrepreneurial and blue-chip environments is also required.
  • Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder matrix environment.
  • Highly organised; works well individually and within a team.
  • A strong, confident decision maker with a proactive approach.
  • Prioritises well and can manage a high-pressure environment whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to influence decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
