Founded in August 2012, International Women’s Initiative (IWI) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) working towards the promotion of women's rights and gender equality around the world. We believe that we will achieve this through the creation of volunteer and professional networks and the provision of a platform for engaging in constructive commentary and ideas-sharing in the field. PERFORMED REMOTELY** IWI’s Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the marketing team in the administration of its functions. The Marketing Assistant markets IWI by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining databases; Assisting the marketing coordinator and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities. Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature. Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required Writing articles and promotional material for the company. Preparing interesting written copy for the website. Uploading marketing material to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites. Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases. Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials. Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; Assist with the writing and distribution of press releases. This position requires someone who has excellent research, writing, and communication skills, is self-motivated, reliable, organized, thorough and timely.
