Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, teaching, and working with students of various ages. This role involves instructing classes, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will be responsible for developing students\’ skills in martial arts while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging martial arts classes for students of all skill levels, including children and adults.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students and groups.
  • Teach techniques in various martial arts disciplines such as Karate, Judo, and other relevant styles.
  • Promote physical fitness and health through martial arts training.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
  • Organize events, demonstrations, or competitions to showcase student achievements.
  • Collaborate with other instructors in planning curriculum and activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in martial arts instruction or coaching, with a strong understanding of various disciplines such as Karate, Judo, or others.
  • Previous experience working with children or youth in a teaching or coaching capacity is preferred.
  • Lifeguard certification is a plus for programs that incorporate swimming activities.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
  • Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is desirable.
  • Background in childcare or youth development is advantageous.
