IKEA Wembley are looking to welcome Store Co-workers to join our delightful and hardworking team. Are you passionate about our range, customers and selling, but flexible to get the job done where necessary? We’re looking for a dynamic Store Assistant to help our customers transform their home into stylish sanctuaries. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience, helping customers find smart solutions for their homes. Every day brings something new, whether you’re sharing product tips, helping customers visualize IKEA products in their home, or making their shopping journey effortless.

What We Offer

  • Start Date of employment: 12th July 2025
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.85 per hour.
  • 16 - 20 hours working 4-5 days per week, with every 4th weekend off.

What You’ll Need To Have

  • Retail sales experience with a strong background in retail foundations, sales and customer service is preferred, but not essential.
  • A positive approach, love multi-tasking, and are enthusiastic about being part of the team and can work without supervision.
  • A customer first mindset and love the versatility of working in a different area each day, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
  • Computer literacy skills and are able to work with technology.
  • You can prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available, with great attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day

  • You will enhance customer experience by working across all areas to meet customer needs, ensure a seamless shopping experience, and act as a key point of contact for customers throughout their visit.
  • You are always passionate about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.
