We are looking to welcome a Safety & Security Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet all persons entering the store and maintain visitor, contractor, customer, and co‑worker access.
• Monitor fire safety and security systems, respond to alarms, and initiate emergency response without delay.
• Support the Safety & Security function through monitoring and review of CCTV and other security infrastructure.
• Record incidents and accidents, maintain the Incident Reporting System and assist with Loss Prevention and detection of offenders.
• Carry out administrative tasks, including audits, reports, maintaining and filing records and support store daily operations.

What You’ll Need To Have

• Ensure the integrity of safety and security systems, guidelines and documentation.
• Plan effectively, influence others and follow up on changes implemented.
• Work in a self‑directive environment to resolve problems and complete tasks within deadlines, in a busy, high‑stress environment.
• React to an emergency situation and be prepared to make decisions.

• Start date: 10th January 2026.
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 20 hours working 4 days per week, including 3 out of 4 weekends.
• Working hours between 7 am and 9:30 pm.
