IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome new Swedish Food Market & Bistro Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking Food & Beverage team. Got a passion for food, fun, and all things Swedish? What We Offer
- Start date of employment will be: 5th & 6th July
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour
- 16 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 and alternative weekends.
- Working hours are 8am to 9:45pm.

What You'll Need To Have
- While previous kitchen experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
What You'll Be Doing Day To Day
- As a Swedish Food Market (SFM) & Bistro Assistant you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the food area to help to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
- The SFM & Bistro is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety and efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
- Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the SFM & Bistro is to a high standard.
- Serving the customers in the Bistro with hot dogs, plant dogs and all things delicious one day to serving the customers on the tills in the SFM the next.
