An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced womenswear designer, to join a supplier in Madrid. The role will be see you designing for accounts such as Zara and other trend driven retailers. It would be advantageous if you have some experience within menswear and childrenswear.
The role:
• Design on trend womenswear multiproduct
• Work with the design team and oversee research within the team
• Conduct design presentations
• Work closely with buyers and merchandisers of the retailers
• Coordinate with the technical department
The candidate:
• Previous experience with womenswear jersey & woven is a must
• Able to speak English and Spanish
• A current portfolio including CADs and hand sketches
• Experience working with Zara, and Indian suppliers
