At International Students House (ISH), no two nights are ever the same. We’re home to 229 The Venue—a legendary live music and events space that’s hosted artists like Kings of Leon and Paul Weller—and The Thirsty Scholar Bar, a buzzing student hangout famous for quiz nights, karaoke, club events, and great food & drink.

We’re now looking for enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team and be part of the action.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serving drinks and bar food with confidence and a smile
• Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression
• Keeping the bar and service areas looking sharp
• Handling payments responsibly and accurately
• Supporting a wide range of events – from live gigs to student parties
• Working as part of a friendly, multicultural team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus – but enthusiasm and a great attitude are just as important
• A positive, outgoing personality and genuine love of customer service
• Ability to stay cool in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and late nights (up to 1am Thu / 3am Fri & Sat)
• A reliable team player who shows up ready to make a difference

What we offer:

• £12.21 per hour + holiday pay (rising to £13.85/hr after probation)
• £3 food allowance for every shift over 4 hours
