Looking for a fun, fast-paced bar job in the heart of London? At International Students House (ISH), no two nights are ever the same. We’re home to 229 The Venue – a unique live music and events space that’s hosted artists like Kings of Leon and Paul Weller – and The Thirsty Scholar Bar, a buzzing student hangout famous for quiz nights, karaoke, club events, and great food & drink. We’re now looking for enthusiastic Bar People to join our team and be part of the action.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serving drinks and bar food with confidence and a smile
- Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression
- Keeping the bar and service areas looking sharp
- Handling payments responsibly and accurately
- Supporting a wide range of events - from live gigs to student parties
- Working as part of a friendly, multicultural team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus - but enthusiasm and a great attitude are just as important
- A positive, outgoing personality and genuine love of customer service
- Ability to stay cool in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and late nights
- A reliable team player who shows up ready to make a difference
