As a Security Specialist, Information & Analysis, you will partner with the Lead Security Analyst – Global Threat Monitoring to deliver high value security insights that support critical business decisions. Your core responsibility will be to collect, assess, and translate complex information into clear, actionable intelligence. Through concise written reporting, you will provide timely threat assessments that enable International SOS’ global clients and internal stakeholders to operate with certainty and competently in evolving environments.
About The Role
- Ensure client awareness of the current global security environment through all-source research, processing, and analysis in line with the lead security centre priorities.
- Report and elevate security or disruption issues affecting International SOS’ clients in line with reporting guidance and thresholds.
- Collaborate with the Content Services professional community of researchers, multimedia specialists and editors to deliver a shared vision of audience-centric and multimedia digital production.
- Conduct research into specific security-related information requirements to support operational planning and readiness and to inform International SOS’ operational posture.
- Ensure International SOS has a best-in-class security I&A and Assistance operation by participating in projects relating to functional enhancements, such as collection tools and trainings.
- Deliver verbal and written security risk assessments tailored to an organisation or individual’s profile and itinerary, escalating to senior management as required.
- Support the Sales and Marketing teams in the articulation of International SOS’ services and in providing functional expertise in client facing forums such as webinars.
- Support the production of escalation matrices and other consulting deliverables as required.
About You
- Interest in global politics, current events and security landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences in English.
- Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite / Technical skills.
- Proven experience in security intelligence or related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; relevant academic studies.
- International work and/or study experience.
- Experience in writing to senior management and decision makers in a client focused role.
- Undergraduate degree or professional training in a field related to security, risk management, international politics or international relations.
- Additional language proficiency desirable; including but not limited to French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, or Russian.
Additional Information
- Some travel, sometimes on urgent request.
- Rotating roster, mix of 9‑ and 12‑hour shifts, no night shifts.
