About The Role
The Quality Coordinator, International Aviation supports the UK Quality function to ensure ongoing compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), ISO standards, and UK regulatory requirements for medicinal products. Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, the role contributes to maintaining a robust and effective quality management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance with UK WDA(H), EU and UK GDP guidelines, MHRA requirements, ISO standards, and controlled drugs legislation.
- Maintain and review supplier and customer approvals (bona fides), ensuring documentation is current, accurate, and approved by the Responsible Person.
- Assist in maintaining the Global Quality Management System, including documentation, record retention, and data integrity.
- Support quality activities related to product receipt, storage, distribution, traceability, and disposal.
- Document and support management of deviations, CAPAs, change control, complaints, and risk management activities.
- Assist with internal selfâinspections, external audits, and the implementation of audit actions.
- Support recall activities, including participation in mock recalls where applicable.
- Ensure GDP training requirements are met for staff handling medicinal products.
- Act as a key quality point of contact for UK employees, escalating issues as appropriate.
About You
- Experience in Quality Assurance within a pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated distribution environment.
- Working knowledge of GDP, MHRA requirements, and quality documentation practices.
- Confident working with controlled drugs, audits, deviations, and quality systems.
- Highly organised, detailâfocused, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a crossâfunctional, international environment.
