We are looking for an experienced solutions architect to join our team in Chiswick, West London. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that Intl.SOS maintains and enhances its market position as the leading provider through the efficient development of product-led, digital-first, client-centric, contemporary and relevant travel risk and critical event management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in software architecture, with a focus on data analytics and enterprise-scale applications involving large scale data systems.
Key responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Provide architectural oversight, ownership and guidance for the design and implementation of complex digital solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of digital solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements, communicate architectural decisions, and gain buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and driving innovation through the adoption of new tools and methodologies. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential technical challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
- Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across digital initiatives with continuous review and updated architecture documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, data science and product management to deliver integrated digital solutions that meet business needs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with digital solutions, implementing proactive measures to mitigate security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory concerns.
- Digital Technology Strategy: Participate in building the digital technology strategy with Digital CTO, H3S CPO, Director, Products, and other architects.
About you
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, with a focus on data management, data analytics and enterprise-scale applications involving large scale data systems.
- Good product understanding and knowledge of product lifecycle.
- Expertise in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS and Azure), microservices architecture, APIs, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
- Architecture and/or development experience with .NET, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Power Apps, React, Node JS, GIS Solutions, Hasura, Grafana, Bitbucket, JFrog, DevSecOps Tools like Circle CI, Win Forms, and related frameworks.
- Good understanding, architecture and implementation experience of AI capabilities and platforms (Vector DBs, LLMs, Prompt engineering).
- Knowledge of enterprise data management frameworks, data warehousing strategies and data analytics systems.
- Good understanding of data privacy and compliance, data management frameworks, Big data and data quality management.
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with Compliance and Audit certifications such as PCIDSS, Cyber Essential and ISO***** and security standards such as NIST.
- Experience in architecting modern contact center case management solutions, integrating with CCaaS and Provider Life Cycle Management Application will be an added advantage.
