The International Society for Industrial Ecology offers a fully funded PhD studentship at the University of Bath focused on sustainability-driven chemical process optimization. Supervised by Jamie Cadge and Stephen Salve Doliente, this program utilizes machine learning and digital chemistry techniques.

Students will gain valuable experience in experimental design, computational modeling, and data-driven decision-making applicable to the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industry. Open to both UK and international applicants, the program starts in September 2026.
