Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences Western University invites applications for the position of Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences with an appointment effective Spring/Summer 2025.

Overview As chief academic officer and a member of the university’s academic leadership team, the Dean will oversee the Faculty’s strategic vision, administrative operations, academic quality, and research impact.

Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership and develop strategic relationships to promote faculty growth.

Ensure academic quality and integrity of programs and operations.

Lead innovative, impactful research achievement.

Represent the faculty within the university and externally.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including fundraising and community partnerships.

Qualifications Distinguished scholar, appointable at the rank of Professor.

Strong record of teaching, research, and service consistent with world‑class research university standards.

Outstanding record of senior leadership in a complex institution, including collaborative internal and external relationships, fundraising experience, and fiscal management.

Deep theoretical knowledge in their field.
