We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified classroom practitioner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Science departments from January 2027.

Located just 12 miles east of York, Pocklington School offers a unique working environment in a friendly market town, while being within easy reach of major cities and the Yorkshire coast.

Our successful co-educational day and boarding school is thriving and we wish to appoint a full time Teacher of Physics who can motivate and stretch pupils of all abilities, whilst allowing every child to achieve their full potential.

You will teach Physics up to and including A level.

You must also have the ability to teach one additional Science subject to GCSE level, as required.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy school community and is keen to get involved beyond the classroom.
