The Role

• Deliver high-quality teaching in accordance with the National Curriculum and the school's schemes of work.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where pupils are motivated to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging units of work.
• Liaise effectively with teaching assistants, class teachers, phase leaders and the Learning Enrichment Department.
• Contribute to the review and development of school policies and procedures.
• Set high expectations for learning, behaviour, attendance and personal achievement.
• Monitor, assess and support pupils’ academic and social development through effective target-setting and feedback.
• Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their children’s progress and ways to support learning at home.
• Support the wider life of the school and actively promote its values and ethos.
