Head of Admissions

Head of Admissions

Full-Time On-site
International Schools Today

£50,322 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Full time

This is a role with genuine influence: you will shape our admissions strategy alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications, contribute to senior leadership discussions on recruitment and retention, and report on your impact to the Head, the GDST and governors.

You will be championing a school with a warm, family ethos and an excellent academic record, where girls thrive from Nursery through to Sixth Form. With the backing of the Girls’ Day School Trust, recent investment in our facilities and a collaborative Marketing & Admissions team, you will have the support and platform to make a real difference. The breadth of the role, spanning strategy, data and CRM insight, events, international admissions and the leadership of two Admissions Officers, offers excellent scope to grow your career in the independent sector.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a warm, organised and persuasive communicator with a customer relations background, confident use of CRM and data, and a strong record of delivering high-impact events. You will build easy, trusted relationships with families, colleagues and feeder schools, and bring the attention to detail that a seamless admissions experience demands. Experience in school admissions, international recruitment or leading a small team would be an advantage. Above all, you will be an enthusiastic ambassador for girls’ education and the GDST, ready to tell our story with confidence and pride.
