Early Years Practitioner (Fixed Term)

Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. With over 800 pupils, it has been the largest boys’ prep school in the UK and is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the world’s most cosmopolitan city. In September 2025, we launched our own Senior School, and boys can now stay with us until GCSE.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our Early Years team on a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027. This is a varied role, which includes:

• Working flexibly across the Early Years section, supporting all classes.
• Creating and managing a caring, supportive, stimulating and safe environment for the children.
• Assisting teachers in delivering high‑quality, differentiated lessons across the Early Years curriculum.
• Managing groups or individual pupils, including, on occasion, working one‑to‑one with children requiring additional support.

• A Level 3 qualification, deemed ‘full and relevant’ by the Department for Education (DfE).
• Knowledge of DfE Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and statutory requirements.
• Experience of caring for and inspiring children.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
