Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with staff prior to sessions to ensure plans are appropriate and all needs and expectations are met.
- Planning and preparing engaging individual instrumental lessons.
- Teaching and delivering individual/small group music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress.
- Providing feedback and giving advice on student performance and skills.
- Researching good practice of innovative and successful instrumental teaching.
- Preparing students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate.
