Responsibilities

  • Prepare learning opportunities for classes, facilitate in-context learning and support cross-curricular projects using a child-centred approach. Instruction will be differentiated to meet student needs across the learning continuum.
  • Develop, review and revise curriculum in the School's curriculum mapping tool Atlas Rubicon, incorporating the school's Learning Principles in instruction and assessment.
  • Collaborate in a team-teaching environment and participate in professional development and the after-school activities programme.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, communicate effectively with children and their parents/families, attend relevant meetings and support a sense of community, diversity and internationalism at the school.
  • Participate in parent conferences, curriculum-review activities and professional development days.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a classroom teacher and ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners.
  • Ability to develop, review and revise curriculum in Atlas Rubicon.
