Reporting to

Manager - Claims & Facultative Business

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process claims for Delegated Authority and Facultative business
  • Monitor claims lifecycle, handling issues and responding to client enquiries
  • Use ECF, CLASS and other relevant Lloyd’s systems effectively
  • Broker claims files into the London market
  • Correspond with insurers, local brokers and clients in a professional manner
  • Update and maintain electronic records accurately
  • Handle and respond to Bureau / XIS queries
  • Provide technical support to other team members
  • Liaise with clients, local producers, Coverholders, loss adjusters and insurers
  • Deliver accurate and timely responses to client correspondence, meeting agreed service standards (e. g. internal SLA is within 48 hours, where applicable)
  • Provide back‑up broking support during periods of staff shortage or high workload
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, external regulations and statutory requirements
  • Organise, manage and maintain an efficient and compliant archiving system
  • Support colleagues within the technical department with any activities as required
